The 20th Edition of the annual BET Awards took place few hours ago. Performers on the broadcast included Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Chloe X Halle, DaBaby, Jay Rock, Jennifer Hudson, Questlove, Nas, Usher, YG, and many more.
Beyoncé was honored with the annual Humanitarian Award in recognition of her ongoing philanthropic efforts. Roddy Ricch also took home the award for Album of the Year (Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial), Megan Thee Stallion was crowned Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, and Lizzo was honored with the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist accolade and Burna Boy crowned the ‘Best International Act’ for the second time in a row.
